Suzanne Gagnon, Ottawa

Suzanne Gagnon is a fully bilingual ACC certified executive coach and Professional Facilitator and Trainer. She coaches senior leaders to integrate leadership concepts in their professional life as well as in day-to-day work activities. She believes that leaders need to embody the organisational values to create a productive and pleasant work environment. People spend more time at work than with their family. Research has shown that happy employee can increased productivity by at least 12% (Research on happy employees).

She leverages her 30 years of public sector experience in senior management positions in the municipal and provincial government where implemented transformational changes through productive stakeholder and staff relationships. Her strength was in translating strategic plans into results to improve policies, programs and service delivery. She was responsible for providing direction to up to 250 staff with an annual budget of over $100M in the community and social services sector.

She is well known for developing leaders as well as teams and improving their efficiency and performance. She uses relevant and real strategic projects to anchor leadership competencies.

By creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, she designs and creates a foundation for engagement, leading to a higher level of development and team cohesion, collaboration, and stronger performance. Her practical management experience, facilitation, and coaching skills are an integral part of her collaborative approach to ensure lasting system change.

She holds a Master in Public Administration from Carleton University and a B.A. of Social Science in Leisure Studies from the University of Ottawa. She is ACC certified in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and ICF. She is certified and developed an interactive and experiential team coaching approach through Organisational Relationship System Coaching. She also certified in The Leadership Circle Profile 360.
